CHAMPAGNE

Fruit/nut | currant | pink

USDA Zones: 3-8

Ribes rubrum Champagne is a truly prized and exquisite pink currant. With its remarkable, elongated clusters of large, rosy-pink berries, it’s a stunning standout! A very heavy producer, particularly thriving in the Pacific Northwest, and is excellent for fresh eating. The compact, woody shrub reaches 3-5 feet and blooms in early spring followed by fruit in mid to late summer. Great for containers, self-fertile and hardy in zones 3-8.

Currant plants will ship bareroot starting in late January and will be about 2 feet tall at time of shipment. Order early for best availability. Available only within the contiguous US. Not available to DE, MA, ME, MI, NC, NH, RI, VA, WV.
