Narcissus papyraceus These fragrant, easy-to-grow fall bulbs are perfect for adding joy to your home during the cold winter months. Paperwhites can be forced in sandy cactus soil, marble stroke, hydro beads, or gravel. Plant at least three bulbs per pot—the more you have, the better the results! These large, 15/16cm bulbs will bloom about three to four weeks after planting, depending on temperature. If you want beautiful blooms for Christmas, plant the bulbs indoors in early November. In Southern states with no danger of freezing temperatures, bulbs can be planted outside in October, November, and December.
