Made from 70% sphagnum moss and 30% virgin wool fiber. Peat pots allow plant roots to penetrate the pot walls easily and thus reduce transplant shock. Peel off the rim before setting flush into your garden, or bury the entire container below the soil surface. OMRI listed.

How I Start My Garden

Over the years I've discovered that starting vegetables and flowers in 4" peat pots helps boost my spring planting. The seedlings sprout quickly and can be hardened outdoors during the day. They don't need repotting until I actually plant them in the garden. We have a difficult climate for growing--high altitude, low humidity, short growing season, and these peat pots help me get the most out of our growing months.
