SAFFRON
Product Description:
Crocus sativus Add a new dimension to your edible ornamental garden with this exquisite variety. Lilac-purple petals are veined with dark purple, setting off 3 long, brilliant red stigmas, which are the portion of the flower used as a spice. The heart of the bloom is a deepened plum color, which serves as an intense contrast to the golden yellow pollen. Plants reach 4-5 inches, and are hardy in zones 6-9. Since this is a fall-blooming variety, it should be planted immediately upon arrival.
