BLACK MAGIC

Product Description:

Colocasia esculenta Black Magic Colocasia is the iconic Elephant Ear variety, renowned for its striking appearance and dramatic presence in the garden. With its deep, purple black, 2-foot long leaves, this remarkable plant creates a bold, almost mystical backdrop for lighter-colored blooms. Originally discovered in the wilds of the Philippines as a dark sport among a patch of all-green plants, it was introduced to the U.S. by California’s Walter Pagels after being shared by Australian collectors. This four-exclamation-point plant is a showstopper, commanding attention with its lush, velvety foliage. Hardy to zone 8.

Bulbs start shipping mid to late February. Available only within the contiguous US.
