KENTUCKY WONDER

KENTUCKY WONDER

Product Description:

70 days. Kentucky Wonder is a wonderful heirloom variety with good, old-fashioned taste. Pioneers depended on the harvest from this 6–8 foot tall variety, and generations of children have snapped the flat, straight, 6–8 inch long, silvery green pods. Many remember Grandma serving the freshly steamed tender pods, so full of that rich beany flavor. Brown seeds; 100 per ounce. BMV, R.

Great producer

Lots of beans, kept growing for the entire growing season. Even when the weather turned cool, the plants had new growth and flowers.

Great seed

I have always been impressed with territorial seed company. The seeds in general (including this one) have a high germination rate. The quality of the vegetables produced are always great. This green bean variety has done well for me in Florida 9B

Solid Producer

I have planted these in the spring (FL) with great success. I am trying to see if I can get a fall crop as well. Just planted and seeds germinated in about 5 days, plants are currently about 8 inches tall, all germinated but one. It's looking good for a fall crop!
