The jury is out. Zone 9b Northern California

I bought the Albion bare root strawberry plants to plant in my strawberry planter. I'm disappointed with the plants. Only 75% of them are growing well. 25% died/never rooted. The ones that survived aren't looking great. I'll be surprised if any of them actually produce strawberries. I will see how they do over the summer. The strawberry planter is on my front porch and gets good morning sun for about four hours. It's too hot out here for the plants to get 8 hours of sunshine.

I hope the ones that are growing well continue to do so! Keep in mind that at Territorial our products are backed by our full guarantee! We want you, our customers, to be 100% satisfied with the seed, plants and supplies that you purchase from us. sturdy bareroot strawberries

All of the starts took root and are growing well. They’re looking vigorous and healthy. I’ve pinched off the flowers this first year but look forward to a tasty harvest next year!
