A message from our President
Dear valued customer:
Our country and the entire world are being challenged in a way we have never experienced. In response many Americans are taking appropriate measures by cocooning at home and are striving to be as self-reliant for as much of their own fresh food as possible. While we are experiencing an unprecedented surge of orders, I would like everyone to know that our raw seed inventories are in good shape. But due to the increase in activity we are currently behind in our goal of shipping orders within 48 hours. We are pleased to say that we have been able to hire recently laid off workers from our surrounding area, and are creating new work schedules.
We believe agriculture, and seed for home gardens and market growers, to be an essential industry at this moment in time as it relates to the food security of the country. We are committed to getting everyone the seed and supplies they need to keep their family and friends in garden-fresh food, while taking the necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of our employees and communities. We have temporarily closed our retail location in Cottage Grove and will reopen at the appropriate time. We are following the guidelines set by Federal and State agencies and will continue to adjust as needed.
At Territorial our goal is meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations in seed quality and service in both good times and in bad. I hope this information will afford you the confidence that your order is in queue and will be on its way as quickly as possible.
To our enthusiastic and world-wise gardeners, we all know the satisfaction of harvesting fresh, nutritious food from our gardening efforts. The only feeling that beats that is when you give your home-grown food to others. The time has never been better to plant a row for the hungry, and volunteer to mentor a new gardener, and pass your skills along to help them be successful.
