DRAGON SUHYO CROSS

DRAGON SUHYO CROSS

Product Description:

60 days. Delicious and tender, these slicing cucumbers are a joy to grow and eat. The 13 inch long, slender fruit have dark green skin that's ribbed and slightly spiny but remarkably delicate. Ripening earlier than others in their class, these cukes boast a sweet, slightly floral flavor and produce continuously and abundantly throughout the season. For space saving and straight fruits, allow the plants to climb up a support structure. GY. IR: PM.

Best cucumber ever

I planted 3 different cucumbers. This one far and away outperformed the others. It was the first to set fruit and continued right on through the whole season. I made 2 batches of pickles from it and gave away cucumbers every week. I will definitely grow these again. The only downside is that it is a hybrid so I can't save seeds

Very nice cucumber

I grew both Bella and Dragon Suhyo in my greenhouse. Started seeds in March and transplanted in April. This is Oct and I am still harvesting both varieties. The Suhyo is spiny and Bella is smooth but both are great tasting and good producers. The Suhyo grows a bit longer than the Bella which for me averaged 12 to 16 inches. Both varieties are amazing.

Crispy and productive

I planted several of these in pots and then transplanted them. I ended up with three good vines that are producing a decent amount. I love the taste and crispness of these cucumbers. Make great Asian salad. They do grow some spiky bumps but I just shave them off.
I didn’t use anything to prevent bugs or disease and they seemed to do pretty well here in Northern California.

Dragon Suhyo Cross

This is the only cucumber I grow now. It is super prolific, and bears early and LONG, into November where I live on the CA coast. Makes excellent fresh eating, no bitterness, and makes good pickles too, nice and crunchy.

Cucumis sativus A favorite in cuisine worldwide, cucumbers possess health benefits too numerous to mention. Among the more unusual qualities of the humble cuke is its ability to ease skin irritations. Use a piece of cucumber skin to soothe burns.
