Colocasia esculenta Add an eye-catching tropical vibe to your garden with this striking elephant ear. Producing earlier than other variegated Colocasia, Royal Hawaiian® Waikiki boasts dark burgundy stems supporting a plethora of large, glossy green leaves with creamy white centers and bright pink veining. This lush, water-loving plant thrives in full sun to part shade, tolerates drought, and holds up well to rain and wind. Grows 3 feet by 3 feet and is perfect for containers. Zones 8–11.

Colocasia plants ship beginning of May in 3 ½ inch pots. Order early for best availability. Detailed planting information and growing instructions are included with each order and may be obtained below. Available only in the contiguous US.

Give this plant high humidity with ample moisture or in a protected place in the house where it can enjoy bright, indirect light. Great for summer patio gardens or indoor garden rooms. Plants prefer warm temperatures of 60-80˚F. Provide a sheltered location from wind. Slightly amphibious, they can do well in patio ponds, along the edge of a water feature, or in a container garden.
