Sturdy clips work great

I'm glad to have found these. the clips fit my stakes well and hold up to the elements. Better than a tomato cage for sure!

Unfortunate...

Thought these clips would be exactly what was needed to construct more stable vegetable support structures. Unfortunately, the c-shaped mouth/clip are very stiff and rigid, and they are very difficult to get around a green plastic-coated metal stake. In fact, several of them I was unable to get attached to a stake, and those that I was able to attach, tore into the plastic coating, ripping and destroying the protective coating of the metal stake. I wish these would have worked, but since they were so inflexible they basically did not function as they were designed.

We offer 2 sizes of C-Bites, and it looks like you purchased the orange. The orange are for 10'11 mm (3/8'7/16 inch) stakes. It's possible you may need to try a thinner stake? If that doesn't work, we'd be happy to issue you a refund!
