Early, great yield - the BEST!

I love Territorial's joi choi! We have late springs which can be anything from frosty to hot (high desert, Central Oregon mountains). Joi choi reliably bulks up crazy fast even if it's cold, and is exceptionally bolt resistant when it gets hot. Very generously sized heads but always tender and never bitter.

Did very well on the Oregon Coast

I live a few miles inland from the Oregon coast. Planted a row last Sept. in a raised bed with no protection from the weather. Did well all winter including a few nights of light frost. Plants never got full sized until late in the spring just before bolting but I was able to pick leaves all winter to use. Flavor was stronger than commercial bok choi, kind of mustardy which I enjoyed. And the plants are so pretty with dark green leaves with white veining and white stalks. Plus the snails and slugs pretty much leave them alone!

Fantastic!!

Fast, easy, fantastic!
I'm here ordering more because these are wonderful.
We are enjoying the thinnings very much here in Reno NV.

My favorite Bok Choi

I grew this alongside an unnamed variety and the difference is really obvious - Joi Choi is more vigorous, with pure white leaf ribs (as opposed to light green) and much darker green leaves. I would not bother with any other (unless you need a baby type). Bolts slower, too, and faster growing means it can outgrow the slugs!
