GOLDEN GATE

Product Description:

66 days. Usher in the pole bean season with this amazingly productive Romano. Large, flattened, sunny yellow pods are set off nicely by the vigorous, dark green plants, making it easy to see the handfuls of beans. The pods are tasty and stringless even when they’re mature at almost 10 inches long and 1 inch wide. White seeds; 65 per ounce.

Golden Romano

I purchased Golden Gate Romano from Territorial Seed Co. I also purchased Gold Marie Romano from another company. The germination was much better on the Golden Gate. They are one of the first to produce of all the varieties of pole beans I planted. They are attractive, sweet and tender, and go well with my green Romano beans.

good taste but has strings

very stringy,will not buy again!

So sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy Golden Gate! In our trials this variety was stringless, even at larger sizes, but if left on the plant too long they can sometimes become more stringy. As always, our products are backed by our full guarantee. We want you, our customers, to be 100% satisfied with the seed, plants and supplies that you purchase from us. If anything you buy from Territorial proves to be unsatisfactory, we will either replace the item (if available) or refund the purchase price, whichever you prefer (for up to 1 year from purchase). You can also reach out to us for any further troubleshooting! Contact our customer service (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Pacific Time) at either 800-626-0866 or info@territorialseed.com
