When i got the strawberry plants some were really dried up and were unrevivable. Only a few look healthy after a bit in the ground. This was an expensive loss.

I'm a master gardener. I was looking for a new everbearing strawberry, and we've ordered from you many times. These bare root plants were dead on arrival. We tried everything to revive them, but no luck.

I purchased almost 40 starts and not one of them lived. What a waste of my money. I have been raising strawberries for over 20 years and have never lost the whole lot of starts. I have to now go buy new plants.

Ordered my Albion strawberry starts from Territorial this year for the first time. Shipping was on time and the transaction quite smooth. The real bonus, however, was the quality of the seedlings. Best ever! I replace one third of my Albion patch every year. Next years order will be with Territorial for sure.

• Strawberries require fertile, well-drained soil, high in organic matter, with an optimum soil pH of 5.5-6.5
• Prepare beds by deeply digging in a 1 inch layer of compost and 5 pounds of bone meal for 100 square feet
• Plant in raised beds, and cover with plastic or straw mulch to prevent fruit contact with soil, which can cause rot
• Keep beds evenly moist, use drip irrigation if possible, avoid wetting fruit; plants need 1-1 1/2 inches of water per week during the growing season
• Pinch off runners to keep plants productive
• June bearing: Produce berries over a 2-3 week period in early summer
• Everbearing: Produce berries consistently from late spring through fall

• Sow indoors 2 months before last frost date
• Strawberry seeds need light to germinate
• Keep moist with a mister
• Up-pot at 3-4 weeks and transplant outside after the danger of frost has passed
