Works great. Work into your soil in the Fall and let the biosphere absorb over during the winter, then add a flash to small plants and 1/4 cup to large plants (zucchini) every 10 days as they grow, Not for seedlings and planting. Use 10-10-10 for that, Work in composed cattle manure in the fall.

Caution with this product

I came to this fertilizer after following Steve Solomon for about 20 years. I used this extensively in our 20' x 50' garden and some outpatches where we grow summer squash, watermelons, pumpkins. It was hand-mixed into the soil surrounding the seedlings and the seeds in quantities not exceeding 1/4 cup per plant and some distance from the root ball. The plants that were fertilized got off to a very slow start, the tomatoes developed very thick leaves and had to be replaced. Cucumbers went nowhere and I replaced the soil and the plants. Lettuce did fine, squash and pumpkins fine after a slow start. Zucchini gave us rotting fruit at the tips and only after extensive watering did they produce normally. Seems to work fine for young trees but hardly any different than 10-10-10. Of course there are a lot of variables in crop production but the results cited by Solomon did not materialize. I have a lot of it left and will A/B comparison next Spring.

Perfect fertilizer - will buy again!!

I originally saw the recipe for this fertilizer combo in 'Growing Vegetables West of the Cascades' and by the time I added up the cost of the components and trying to find them, I just ordered this mix. I added some to my top compost and side dressed throughout the season and I have kale, cabbage, spinach, beets, tomatoes and cucumbers coming out of my ears. Next time, I'm sizing up to the big bag!

Excellent Fertilizer

I've been using Territorial's Complete Fertilizer for years now and it works wonderfully for me, in my relatively small garden. Every plant I use it on seems to thrive on this stuff, from tomatoes, peppers, perennial flower plants to annual flower plants.
I use it in a mix of compost at planting and then side dress every 2 weeks or so. I like that it's all natural. While it's not rocket fuel, I sure get a lot of beautiful vigorous plants.
