The plant was planted a day after it was delivered. We are in the Pacific Northwest and the plant gets full sun all day long until really late in the day when it gets shaded. It gets watered regularly. The plant is growing and growing with a few blossoms but no fruits yet. When should I expect to see fruits on the plant?
You can generally expect to get mature fruit within 55 days of planting, but that can vary depending on growing conditions. Is there enough pollinator activity in your garden? If pollinator activity is low, fruit set can be low as well. You can try hand pollinating if need be. I planted this cucumber transplant in a grow bag in mid-May, and by mid-June, I was already picking large, tasty cucumbers. I’ve been joking about how they seem to appear overnight and grow to full readiness in an afternoon. I don’t use any fertilizer. Just sun and water are enough for these bountiful cucumbers.
The past two seasons that I have bought marketmore they have died on me before even making tendrils. I've ended up buying from a local greenhouse and now will continue to do that for the future. Yet the cherry toms that I get from here have always been terrific!

In 2022, Marketmore yielded cucumbers all summer for us and our cucumber-loving neighbors. Started indoors, planted three hills outside in a compost-rich raised bed on a string trellis that still had some snap peas growing on it. No problems at all, despite Chicago weather, and very pretty in the garden.

Cucumis sativus A favorite in cuisine worldwide, cucumbers possess health benefits too numerous to mention. Incorporate cucumbers in your diet to aid with weight loss, as they are exceptionally low in calories (only about 8 calories in 1/2 cup), aid digestion, and rid toxins from the body. Among the more unusual qualities of the humble cuke is its ability to ease skin irritations. Use a piece of cucumber skin to soothe burns.

Culture
• Cucumbers perform best in fertile, well-drained soil with a pH 5.5-7.0
• Consistent, even watering is critical for best plant growth and fruit development
• Raised beds, plastic mulch, and trellising can improve yields, keep fruit straight and scab free
• Incorporate a shovelful of compost and 1/2 cup TSC's Complete fertilizer per hill
Direct Sowing
• For best germination, keep soil evenly moist but not too wet
• Cover hill with Kozy-Coats, Victorian Bell Cloches, or a row cover to speed up germination
• Thin to the strongest 1-2 plants when first true leaves emerge
Transplanting
• Start indoors in 4 inch pots, 3-4 weeks before anticipated transplant date
• Avoid letting starts get root bound; transplant carefully as to not disturb roots
