No growth after 2 months

I am pretty disappointed with this one from territorial. Received Feb 25, followed all storage instructions and planted 2 weeks later. Has been in the greenhouse, zone 8, since then and nothing has happened yet. Talked to Territorial and they said it could take 10 months to come out of dormancy! This review is about this specific plant, not Territorial as a business because they actually took care of me after contacting them.

Disappointing

Finally received the plant. Planted immediately. Watered and cared for. Hasn’t even leafed out.

So sorry to hear that! Without knowing specifics about the growing conditions, it's hard to say what happened, feel free to reach out so we can help troubleshoot. Please know that at Territorial, our products are backed by our full guarantee. We want you, our customers, to be 100% satisfied with the seed, plants and supplies that you purchase from us. If anything you buy from Territorial proves to be unsatisfactory, we will either replace the item (if available) or refund the purchase price, whichever you prefer (for up to 1 year from purchase). Contact our customer service (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Pacific Time) at either 800-626-0866 or info@territorialseed.com

Initial Instructions
After unpacking your Cherry Red currant, allow the plant a few days to gradually acclimate to full exposure. If you are keeping your Cherry Red currant in a container, re-pot it into the desired pot. If planting in the ground, select a location with well-drained soil, spacing the plants 3 feet apart.

For all other currants, upon arrival the shrubs will be bareroot and dormant. Moisten them slightly with some regular water and place in a cool damp area until ready to plant outdoors. It’s best to plant the currants while still dormant and space them 2-4 feet apart.

Cultivation
Water regularly during the first growing season. Fertilize lightly early in the season with a well-balanced fertilizer. Mulch well in autumn to protect the roots.

Currants are not bothered by pests or diseases and are deer resistant.
