CHING-CHIANG

CHING-CHIANG

Product Description:

40 days. This early, dwarf pac choi is sturdier and stockier than most dwarf varieties. Ching-Chiang has smooth medium green leaves and thick petioles that have a wonderful mild flavor, are tender, and have very few strings. Ching-Chiang was bred to be tolerant of heat, rain, cold, and dampness, making it a great choice for early spring, late summer and fall planting.

Taking VERY well to LECA

I started with these seeds on April 4th, sprouting them in a sponge and waiting for roots before moving them to LECA. It's May 1st, and there are multiple healthy green leaves. This plant is SUPER responsive to LECA, and is very very happy. I'll let you know how it tastes when I harvest!

A Winner

This PAC Choi is the most reliable variety for me. It grows a beautiful compact head. It does not seem to bolt as easily as other varieties I have grown. I planted three crops and possibly could have done more.
